Broadband

TalkTalk

TalkTalk (www.talktalk.co.uk) is offering cheap phone line installation for all new and existing customers.

The special offer cuts the price of line installation down to £29.99 for existing customers who are moving house, or £59.99 for all new customers. BT (www.bt.com) currently charges £122.50 for new line installation.

TalkTalk, the pioneer of “free broadband” has one of the cheapest calls and broadband bundles with MyTalkTalk Essentials at £6.49 a month, plus £11.25 line rental.


BT

BT (www.bt.com) is currently offering all business broadband customers a free wireless router worth £59.99, as well as 50 free wifi minutes every month when they sign up to one of its business broadband packages.

In addition to the two new offers, BT business broadband customers can now save £60 over 24-months on Option 1, 2 or 3 packages. Option 1 comes with speeds of up to 8Mb, a 10GB monthly download allowance, 10 email addresses and 50MB of webspace for just £12.50 a month.

Option 2 comes with 8Mb broadband, “unlimited” downloads with a fair usage policy and 250 wifi minutes a month for £22.50. Option 3 comes with all the benefits of Option 2 plus 500 monthly wifi minutes and an inclusive mobile broadband dongle.

BE broadband

Be Broadband (www.bethere.co.uk) is offering all new customers a free £24 Amazon voucher.

The free voucher is available until 30 June on all three of Be’s packages; Value, Unlimited and Pro. Just enter the code 24Offer when signing up online or call 0808 101 3424 to join Be and claim your Amazon voucher.

Vodafone

If you’re considering a new laptop, sign up to mobile broadband (www.vodafone.co.uk) and bag yourself a free acer laptop as well as three months’ free broadband.

Vodafone is offering customers a free acer Aspire 5535 when they sign-up for a 24-month Vodafone mobile broadband contract. The contract includes 3GB of downloads a month, and the laptop has a 15.6in LCD screen and 3D sonic stereo speakers making it suitable for watching hi-definition movies.

Vodafone has also cut the cost of its mobile broadband price plans, offering three months’ free on its 24-month contract, which then reverts to £15 a month. And on its 18-month contract, it’s offering the first three months discounted to £10. After that it’s £15 a month.

Finance


NatWest

Customers of NatWest (www.natwest.com) can benefit from 0% on balance transfers for 15-months with its new Platinum credit card. A balance transfer fee of 2.9% does apply, and the card comes with a typical APR of 16.9%.

Anyone can take advantage of this offer as long as they have some kind of NatWest product, such as a current account, mortgage or insurance, and are earning at least £10,000.

Barclaycard

Barclaycard Platinum (www.barclaycard.co.uk), has extended its 0% balance transfer deal until 1 June 2010, as well as reducing its fee for balance transfers from 3% to 2.5%, making it one of the best cards on the market.

Cardholders will also get 0% interest on purchases for the first three months. The card offers a 12.4% typical APR, but it is only suitable for those with a good credit history.

Energy


British Gas

Energy giant British Gas (www.britishgas.co.uk) has a new tariff that is currently the cheapest online dual fuel energy deal.

WebSaver 3 from British Gas offers average savings of £109 compared to British Gas’ standard price tariff, and the company promises the tariff will be 6% cheaper than its standard tariff from now until 1 August 2010.

The new tariff is available to both new and existing British Gas customers, and features paperless billing and online account management as standard.

British Gas

British Gas (www.britishgas.co.uk) has also extended its boiler offer until 25 July 2009. Just order a new or replacement boiler from British Gas and you could save up to £852, including a year’s free HomeCare 200 central heating cover worth £204.
